Had pie mash and liquor for the first time in 20 years. It was delightful. And the school cake and custard went down a treat!

Been to many Pie & Mash shops, some authentic, others not so much so! But this for me is my favourite shop, I would say as far as the basic yet overly comforting classic goes, this is genuinely it.

Finally got the chance to visit after about 3 years of waiting and it did not disappoint! Fantastic, traditional pie and mash cafe in the lovely Waltham Abbey. I had pie, mash abs liquor, and it was bloody delicious, well worth the wait! I will be back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Clean, bright and welcoming. I have not had pie n' mash since I was a child and I'm now in my seventies. So this was a trip down memory lane for me and it was great. The pie and mash was exactly as I'd hoped it would be, better to be honest. Good sized pie and plenty of mash and liquor. I even remembered that a splash of vinegar went well with this dish. Very good value, served piping hot and served fast. Tea, what else would you have, served hot in a large mug and served even faster. I really enjoyed it. Will I go back? Too right.

Bland , tasteless pies , mash was ok , but it’s mash for Christ sack , liquor bland , not good, I’ve been bought up on pie and mash , I lived on pie mash in chapel street , market, and the one in white cross street, they are both gone gone now, this one is not worth the the going to , it’s a shame went to this one years ago and it was good, don’t bother now , it’s not old school

I tried pie and liquor for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend paying them a visit. The staff are very friendly the place is very clean and the food is delicious. I would definitely go back if I'm ever down that way again.
